YMB were asked to design and custom build a 6 metre long Mono Stringer ( Spine Beam) Staircase for a Project in France. To achieve this we were able to combine our Technical Design Skills with our Manufactacturing Capability to great advantage for this project.
First we analysed the Technical requirements from the Client’s Brief then we produced a Schematic Design which we verified with a Computerized Structural Design Check to validate it.
The Project uses natural 7cm Suar Wood Treads on Composite Yellow Balau Spine Beams for resistance to Bending and deflection .
The Customer expressed his satisfaction with the result before the finished Stair was broken down for shipping ” I’m happy with the work and its a great job they have done” he messaged. We hope to see more images later when it’s finally installed in France.
